Egle Buitvydaite (F 2007) from Lithuania has written to us to say that she and Angela Espinosa Ruis (F 2008) from Spain have started a mutual blog called ExtraordinaryGlobe. Egle said:

“Today I would like to share some good news! Together with Ángela Espinosa Ruiz from Spain (BFTF Founder ‘08) we started our mutual blog called ExtraordinaryGlobe. This is quasi a tangible result and beneficial sequence of what BFTF is all about - leadership, politics, international affairs, global problems and solutions, talents, inspiration and, chiefly, youth dialogue. After BFTF had come to an end, it got essential to keep honing our perennial relations with each other. It is hard to speak tête-à-tête on a regular basis due to matter-of-course reasons, thus an interactive blog comes as the best tool possible to keep in touch on a political level. Every 20th day of each month we buckle down to publish the newest articles concerning the realms of Economy, Politics, Arts, Environment, Gastronomy. We are also eager to present our countries - Lithuanian and Spain - from the very close and objective youth point of view. Hence, the blog contains two sections on these two particular countries. Furthermore, our Op-Ed tab welcomes everyone with a poignant interest to the world and beyond! I am sure that every BFTFer no matter of one’s concentration right now will find the website useful and inspirational! Don’t hesitate to visit www.extraordinaryglobe.com. It is our genuine pleasure to share the news from the world we all live in!

I think it would be an excellent idea to put this on BFTF website, so everyone could learn about our activity!”

We have done that Egle and congratulations We hope that all the BFTF Fellows will visit this blog and contribute.

Let the communications continue!!!

“I study business administration and organizational communication in Denmark and this is my final semester of my bachelor. In my course it is mandatory to finalize an internship period of 3 months, which I chose to do here in Armenia….which is fantastic. The NGO has worked in Armenia since 1992 trying and changing the lives of the disabled. Since October 2009 the organization has the responsibility of combating HIV/AIDS. The numbers of people infected are increasing in Armenia. I am working on a communication plan for this new project, which is very exiting and relevant to my studies. I am working on one of the largest running projects in Armenia at the moment. It feels great converting theoretical knowledge into practice.”
