Yesterday evening Jon Bougher screened his documentary film: Bound by Haiti to the fellows. Images of beautiful Haitians blended in with images of desperate people and rubble that resembled the end of the world. The film impacted viewers on a profoundly emotional level. The silence cloaked the room during the screening as students immersed themselves in the Haitian situation for 46 minutes. It left the viewers silently contemplating and some even moved to tears. While at the same time we were inspired and motivated to act.The film stressed the fact that every person can and must change the world. The following discussion gave the fellows the opportunity to ask the director any question they would like, and they certainly did not let that chance pass them by. It became obvious that the film had stirred up emotions in a way rare for documentaries.www.boundbyhaiti.com

We are so lucky to have Jon here working with the BFTF Fellows. What a resource and what an opportunity for the Fellows to actually talk with someone who produces documentary films.
