BFTF 2008

BFTF 2008 will be here before we know it. We are in the beginning stages of planning for BFTF 2008. So keep checking back as we will be updating this site over the holiday.

For those in the U.S. who wish to apply: In late January 2008 or early February we will post an application form for US particiapnts to fill out and submit for consideration. Please keep checking back for this and other events as we begin planning for 2008.

For International students who wish to apply: The Public Affairs Office or Officer of the U.S Embassy in your respective countries will be making the decision as to who to send. We would suggest that you contact the U.S Embassy and express to them your interest in the program. A lot of the embassies have websites and you may be able to contact them that way. We encourage you to continue checking back with us through this website but remember we do not decide who will be coming. That is a decision made solely by the U.S. Embassy in country.

Guuuuh-reat, we have quite a lot of activity from Bulgaria now, don’t we. Just great, speaks a lot for the country. Proud to be from there (you so guessed it, I am Bulgarian, and will try to participate as well *after all it is better to have something than to have never somethinged at all $is this even a word [waaaay too many brackets]$*).

Just check the US embassy site and with just enough search done you’ll pretty easy find the application form, just as I did. Even though my teacher gave me a printed version. You can try and ask your English teacher the same. Still…
Good luck everybody and may the best man-girl-household appliance win!

    Momma, keep your fingers crossed!

    Can anyone help me?
I have only one direct question- when will the so-called semi finalists’ names be available for the public?
I applied for this initiative about a month ago and still I don’t have any information.
(I’m from Bulgaria and if there are any Bulgarian fellows with some information, please write to me !)
